Hi, I’m Feyi.

I'm a UX/UI and Product Designer based in Baltimore, MD, with 5+ years of experience designing digital products that are intuitive, accessible, and genuinely enjoyable to use. I was born in Nigeria and moved to the US in late 2017, bringing with me a deep curiosity about how people interact with the world around them — a curiosity that eventually led me to design.

My love for design started long before it became a career. I spent years sketching, experimenting with fashion, and exploring visual art — building an eye for aesthetics and a sensitivity to detail that now shapes everything I create. In 2020, I turned that passion into a profession, and I haven't looked back since.

What I do

I work across the full UX design lifecycle — from early user research and interviews, all the way through to high-fidelity prototypes, usability testing, and developer handoff. I'm comfortable leading design solo and collaborating cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and stakeholders in remote and agile environments.

Most recently, I spent three years as a UX/UI Designer at Impact Hub Network, where I led end-to-end design for three web applications — YouthAction, CitizenCommons, and ForLeaders. During that time, I conducted user research, built design systems in Figma, ran UX audits, and drove measurable outcomes: a 30% increase in online engagement, a 20% improvement in user retention, and a 35% reduction in design-to-dev handoff errors. I also had the opportunity to mentor emerging designers as a UX Skills Trainer at TechCentral Tech Academy, which reminded me how much I enjoy helping others grow in this field.

Beyond my full-time work, I've tackled fast-paced challenges like the Morgan Hacks hackathon, where I led the end-to-end UX/UI design for FASHMAP — a campus marketplace prototype — from discovery to high-fidelity prototypes in just 24 hours, increasing task success rates by 40%.

Tools I work with: Figma, Figma Dev Mode, Adobe XD, Sketch, Shapr3D, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, HTML/CSS

My Approach

I believe great design starts with listening. Before I open Figma, I want to understand the people I'm designing for — their goals, their frustrations, the moments where a product fails them. That empathy is what drives every decision I make, from information architecture to the smallest interaction detail.

I care deeply about accessibility. Every product I design is built with WCAG standards in mind, because inclusive design isn't an afterthought — it's the standard. I also believe in the power of consistency, which is why I invest in scalable design systems that make products easier to maintain and evolve over time.

At the end of the day, I measure success by how clearly a product communicates, how effortlessly someone can use it, and whether it actually solves the problem it set out to solve.

Beyond the screen

When I'm not designing, you'll find me exploring fashion and clothing design, working on NFT art, sketching, or finding new ways to blend creativity with technology. My background in multiple creative disciplines gives me a perspective that goes beyond pixels — I bring a holistic sense of aesthetics and storytelling to every project I work on.

I'm currently open to new opportunities. If you're working on something meaningful and need a designer who'll bring both strategic thinking and craft to the table, I'd love to hear from you.
